He was 88.
While I hated a lot of things he did in the service of Nixon, Reagan and Bush the First (Particularly his bull headed supprot of SDI, a boondoggle beyond all reason) , I also admired his stones for being just about the only hard line Republican to go public with his opposition to the Iraq war from the get go.
'Cap' has been a player on the world stage so long, it's hard to imagine him not being around anymore.
