Why are companys selling there rights to make movies out of there games to this guy? re they stupid?
I men, did nyone see the abyssmal house of the dead? God, my iq went down a good 30 points from watching that festering pile of crap. And bloodtayne.... the game took place in 1940s... she turned into a vampire in 1870 something........ NOT THE 12th CENTURY DAMMIT!!!
is anyone else as outraged about him as me?

Uwe Boll is a fucking genius.

He exploits a now-defunct loophole in German tax laws that rewards movies that perform poorly. If his movies are intentionally bad, all of his benefactors get to write off their expenses related to the movie, and he makes a ton of money and spends very little.

Welcome to 3 years ago, at this point most of us just ignore Uwe. The only piece of writing worth reading at S.A. is the confessional of that dude who was supposed to write the scrips for alone in the dark but didn't because Boll woud not lest a script go throug if it didn't have a sex scene and an upscale gunbattle.

at least when the guy makes a bad movie, he makes them comicly bad, rather than just difficult to watch bad.

pity he has to piss on a few game licences in the process

Yeah, lol. At least he wasn't responsible for the travesty that was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, or the Alice in Wonderland with Whoopi Golgerg and Martin Short (I had to watch that fucking movie while baby sitting, and it litterly bored me to the point of depression. Even the kids agreed to turn it off at one point)

Alone in the Dark sucked as well... Poor bastard has no place in a movie directors seat. I will never watch one of his movies again... I am curious about farcry tho..
