Favorite first date place

If it's your first date, where do you take them?

For those that are already paired, where was your first date and what made it really special for you?

My favorite has always been something that went all day long. Nature Center (outdoors), then canoeing or bike riding or a baseball game (outdoors), then to a local family owned restaraunt on Walnut Street (outdoors), which is in the more artistic section of town right around MSU.

If I made the first overature, I always paid.

I've seen the Diner's Club card logos a few places around here. Even on gas pumps. But I don't know anybody that has one.

Maybe it's now an AARP thing.

I just remember old commercials in the 90's that showed a guy with his dame at an expensive restaraunt. His credit card is declined and the man suddenly gets embarassed untill he remembers that he has his Diner's Club Card.

I think I remember that. I also remember what a crappy commercial it was for the Diner's Club that it wasn't the first card he pulled out but was a back up card.
