Since I enjoy having a total stranger look at my art and tell me what he/she really thinks (that and since I enjoy the site so much I figured I would register and post) I am going to post my art here to see what you think. http://www.deadserver.org/images/Fantasy-Landscape.jpg

123456 filters.
this totally reminds me of me like 3 years ago :(
so keep working at it and you'll be better able to expess your sense of aesthetic without really touching that magical and backstabbing filter menu.
take more photos, pay attention to where your lines are going, and expand your color palette. i know that sweet spot between green and bue is criminally enticing, but unless it's intentional (and even then...) try to avoid it.
or just come to that realization by yourself eventually, if you like.
point is, keep working, honestly. it looks like crap to everyone here, but i think you could be on to better things soon if you really take the time to figure out what aesthetic, what sense, WHAT IT IS you're trying to get across.

I figure I will be out of the grasp of those yummy yet oh so unhealthy filters once I find a scanner with a decent resolution or a better wacom tablet thats not 4x5 inches.

It kinda reminds me of the game Rez when you shoot that little box 8 or 10 times and you warp into the next zone. :|

That's a perfectly manageable size. Just zoom in a bunch when working.

There's this whale of a wacom tablet at work. It was upside down when I first saw it, and I swear that I first thought it was something you stand on due to its massiveness.
