No it wasn't. All you did there was try to kill as many monsters as possible. In SW, you got to have all new boss battles and you got a different view of the RE4 storyline. Way better than just killing monsters over and over again.

hell yes they were :( i didn't even have a rifle at that point the first time i played, i had to kill their parasites with shotgun, magnum and grenades :lol

It took me forever for me to find out that you had to knife the bastard to death on that tower, lest you want your head separated from your shoulders.

You can shoot him with guns too. They work just like the knife on him, but with better range.

For some reason the knife is super effective on Krauser, 6 to 7 slashes with it will kill him.

I wish a few more games would try and copy RE4's gameplay system, I've only seen one other game try it and from what I'm to understand it sucked.

I ran out of sniper bullets to shoot the leach things off him and all i had left was my knife, and he kicked my ass real good. Then I shotgun him in the legs and thought he was dead but then he slithered on the floor and ate my face :(

the grey guy/spiky guy was called a Regenerator, and he was straight-up terrifying. I shot that fucker full of a clip of magnum rounds, to NO AVAIL. I was all WTF till i got a lucky hit on one of his parasites.

Yeah, those guys are even more dangerous when they're down. Shooting the legs off of the first one I met was one of the biggest mistakes I made while playing :x

Did anyone else find that the game seemed to drag on to a whole lot of heavy WTF moments? Like the Lava pits and the orange tinted car chase on an abandoned military base on some island that just seems to appear out of nowhere? The strangest part is that they made the game more fun.
