Samus is going to seek out the source of the phazon meteors and blow it up so as to not make the "PHAZON FUCKS UP THE PLANET SO YOU HAVE TO DO SHIT ON IT TO MAKE IT BETTER" premise get old and boring, and also she will actually talk in the game and her voice will be done by Sandra Oh :(

She does talk she's like "Ugh" and "Aah!"
I want to know more about the Chozo. >:

I mean real talking like people do in other games :(
I also predict that Samus will be able to perform awesome melee moves like gouging space pirates in the eyes and grabbing small enemies with the grapple beam then flicking them into the wall/horizon/wherever

Oh god, the grapple beam would be one hell of a tool if you have to use it with the fucked up Revolution (Wii >: >: ) controller. You would actually have to make a whipping motion or something :x

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It IS a bad thing because now every time I play it someone's going to make a whip noise whenever I use it.

Yeah, it's official title is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Dark Samus is returning as an evil bad guy who teams up with the Space Pirates so they can help him/her/it corrupt new planets with "Phazon Seeds," the Galactic Federation has declared war on them and has hired Samus to help out since they are obviously pussies, and at some point I think Samus is corrupted by Phazon and gains new abilities from it and whatnot (and after that the game will periodically go into "Corruption Mode" in which the gameplay and graphical style will change radically).
Also, there are supposed to be a lot more wide open, epic-looking areas like in MP2 (i.e. the path to the Torvus Bog elevator and that part where you're under the great temple and you look up and you're all like "jesus that thing's really big").

I'm kind of getting sick of this Phazon/Evil Samus Clones shit :( How many games have we had that in now?

Two. Corruption is supposed to finish up the Metroid Prime Trilogy, though, so I don't think we'll be seeing Phazon or Dark Samus again.

Ugh. The only thing I'll be doing with Metroid Prime 3 is not buying it.

Prime 2 sucked. Why are they making a third? They should just remake Prime 1 but change all the background colors so it looks different enough.

I hate it when people say Prime 2 sucked. What exactly sucked about it? It's the same damn game as the first one.

Challenge was replaced by aggravation.

Prime 2 was a little bit annoying, but that didn't stop it from being a fantastic game which I absolutely loved. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it didn't have that faggoty ammo system for the different beams, though. :(

I expect multiple planets, in space dogfights, out of suit missions, Oh yeah and fun crap with the Wiimote.
perhaps the morphball can be steered by tilting as well.
I recenty made a frightening YTMND about a metroid movie http://samushilton.ytmnd.com/

No, the morph ball is controlled by the analog stick.

As much as I love the Wii-mote, it would be gay as hell trying to move the morph ball around with it and I'm glad they mapped it to the analog stick.
