I've been shopping for cars today as mine as finally died :<

But here's this fucking bonkers ebay auction I ran into on the way.

Had any specific car in mind (that you were looking for)?

Er... just for information's sake: Those Tauruses frequently have clutch problems because of the 4 spring rig that has kinda narrow pads. They wear out and start slipping sooner than most.

That's a very nice family car. Plenty of room to put two child seats in it. Your thinking ahead!

Actually Mike is useful for the first time in his I-Mockery career, as my 96 Ford Taurus Wagon GL is now in the shop requiring a second automatic transmission repair and they want $3400+ for that and other shit, which is about double the worth of the car itself. Which is why I'm shopping for newer Taurii, because I'm hoping the newer ones aren't as gay with their transmissions.

But I'm open to advice on the issue, I just want something that's stylish and comfortable and can store a lot of shit in it ;< I've been looking at Sables and Pissats and maybe even a Grand Caravan too. But I do so love my Taurus, so I'll probably settle on that or a Sable, seeing as how they're identical in appearance.

WHO KNOWS THINGS! NOT ME! SHARE!

Tauruses and Sables suck hard core. Get a good reliable car. Like a 85-95 jeep cherokee straight fucking style lots of room, an engine and tranny that will go 230,000+ no problem. And you will look like a MAN driving it.

You know my 90 Dynasty? 320,000+, and only one new transmission and minor work over the past 15 years. Still running, yo.

It would have been better if it was rear-wheel-drive and stick shift. But thats a nice car.

chojin, get an old toyota. they'll haul ass forever in style. i drive a toyota rav 4, but it recently shit out on me :/ on the highway. im getting it fixed but it's gonna cost like 1000 :( the most expensive repair it's had in it's 197k mile life :0 im actually not sure how much it will cost, we arn't having anyone look at it until monday. im hoping it will only be 1k.

alot of the time i have contimplated buying a older like, tercel, corolla or camry to drive pizza again. because as used toyotas, theyre CHEAP AND GOOD. and not to not put any more miles on my rav 4. but i never got around to it :( i <3 toyotas :(

in my dreams i drive a prius :(

ps, one of my best friends drives an older sable, & my girlfriends mom drives a new one. she's already had problems with her sable, *gasp*. and my friend's motor mounts went all fucky

but you should NOT BUY FORD OR MERCURY OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT

buy a goddamn TOYOTA

my dad's toyota previa (BEST VAN EVER, LIGHTNING BOLT TOURS IN ONE) went 250k miles without many problems and it's life ended by getting wrecked :0 it would of went 350k probably!

This sticker is not on my car, I instead opted for the i-mockery voiceover advertisements package.

Avoid anything Ford puts together nowadays. They don't know what the hell they're doing. Their reliable Grand Marquis and Crown Vics might be worth something, but now even their trucks are showing pretty shoddy quality.

You want a good car, get a Honda, Toyota, or even an older American car pre-1985. Or an Olds, which is what I currently ride in. It's not a sports car, but one of the finest vehicles I've ever owned.

I have only one question.

Does it have one of those refridgerated glove compartments to stow sushi in like in that commercial that I don't think was for that car but was something I really wanted to do anyway?

Chojin
