Does anyone remember that old fish game? By Mark Riddles

There is this old game for Macs and possibly PCs but I vividly remember it on the Macintosh. It's where you get to pick from a bunch of fish (from guppie to a great white) and then your goal is to stay alive. You could even cutomize your fish's color and size I think.

Yes, I do! It was very colorful and the screens were fixed so each time you left the screen you went to a new area.

I remember you could not only eat fish but also plankton, coral, and sponges, and it would let you know if you shouldn't eat it. Like "Oh no! Sponges are poisonous to Butterfly Fish. You feel very sick!" so it was sort of education I guess :/

Is it the same game? If so, I don't remember the name of it. I remember playing all the time on PC back about 11 or 12 years ago.

I forgot this game even existed until I read this thread. I remember you could pick a shark at some point, and that it's only predators were humans.

oh man i remember this game from small times! ONE OF THE BAD GUYS WAS A SEAL but sometimes the seal didnt eat the kind of fish you were!

also sometimes the thing could be a fish hook and you didnt know it and you'd end up getting CAUGHT :eek

Jixby's description sounds like a different game I used to play on old green-screened Apple computers. Where you have a choice like "Eat Fish" or "Shallow Run Away" and "Deep Run Away". And in later levels the small fish could have angler hooks that getcha :eek
