I'm sure one of you may have posted this at some point, but I've been going apeshit with Wikipedia lately, so I looked up I-Mockery:

I-Mockery is a pop culture humor site owned and operated by Roger Barr (aka: -RoG-) that has existed online in various forms since 1996. Before then, it was a printed periodical called Visionary Darkness. Free copies of Visionary Darkness were distributed in local high schools and record shops. It later became a web site on Geocities which housed a variety of humorous articles and rants. Barr also registered other sites on Geocities under several aliases and made them all a part of the Visionary Darkness web site. After a few years of building up the popularity of these sites, Barr registered the I-Mockery.com domain name in August of 1999 to house all of his humor sites under the same roof (and to avoid Geocities' increasingly slow performance). The I-Mockery name was created at the time as a spoof of all the corporate web sites that started with "I" or "E" at the time. The name loosely translates to Internet-Mockery.

i-mockery is a peice of crap site where the moderator ("rog") is like stuck in 1996 (he is ridiculous. he is making a zombie movie) and the vets are purposefully obtuse and exxcentric and made fun of jonathan clement who is like the collest guy around. people at i-mockery dont like anime even if they think about sex all the time. ow an earwig bit me. anyway dont go to i-mockery i have a blood boycott aginst them and if you visit them you'll regret it when you're old and looking back on your life before you die and you'll forget to make your will because of them.

I'm actually impressed by all the information on that article. I remember looking up I-Mockery on wikipedia a while back and finding nothing.

MAX BURBANK'S COSTUME QUIZ (http://www.i-mockery.com/halloween/bag/costumequiz/default.php)

I couldn't help but notice that most people would never be able to read this awesome article unless a die-hard fan searched every crevice of the site, so I thought I would post this. That and it is my favorite piece by Max.

When I google my name all I get is the book "Networks of Power" and a realtor from Yorba Linda :/

And the website who first pointed out the book got the first name wrong when compared to amazon, so that doesn't even count :(
