Ok, this is the Spider-Man 3 Thread.

Things confirmed for this movie.

-The Symbiote is going to be in it
-The Villians will be The Hobgoblin (Harry Osborne), The Sandman (Flint Marko) and Eddie Brock/Venom.
-Gwen Stacy will Be in the film as a Second Love intrest (and will likely be killed in this movie or the one after)
-Its Release will be in 2007, most likely in the summer and will be followed by shitty movie tie ins like happy meals and a videogame.

If Venom isnt appearing in the movie, Eddie Brock Is. It has been confirmed that Topher Grace (Eric Forman from "That 70's Show") is playing Eddie Brock.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are also Rumors on the net stating that Spiderman 4-6 will be made involving the supervillians Carnage, Chameleon, Kraven the Hunter, The lizard. Yet I cannot see how this is true as in the Movie Licensed games, Kraven and The lizard have already been Defeated. And those games go with the movies pretty well so I say that is bullshit.

As much as I like Topher Grace, he shouldn't be any villain in any movie. Even Pub could beat up Topher Grace.

Well yeah, but remember, Toby Mcguire was Really skinny before he did SpiderMan and he has grown Considerably Build wise. Topher Can do it, he just has to get A lot more Muscle on him to measure up to the build that Eddie Brock has in the Comics.

Remember, Eddie Brock was origionally weak like Peter Parker, he only started to lift weights as a vent for his anger. So Really, Peter Parker And Eddie Brock are Really Identical, its just that Brock is An angry and slightly Disturbed Individual. I have confidence in The Decison to Cast him, they havent made any real mistakes with casting in those movies yet.

I was initially worried about Topher Grace's casting as Eddie Brock, but his brief appearance in the trailer have waylaid my fears somewhat. He looks good as Brock.

If Harry takes the monkier of Hobgoblin I'll be pissed, because he is the second green goblin.

Am I'm actualy still a little mad that they already had doc oc in a movie, I wanted an Insidious (sinister) six movie, that would be infinite tits.

and topher did look convincing as brock.

It would be pretty sweet if my by the end of the movie series they have a Separation Anxiety or Maximum Carnage storyline.

For Spider-man to go into the Seperation Anxiety Storyline, they would need to go through The Carnage Story First. And that wont happen until Spider-Man 5.

Yeah, about a hundred pounds of muscle and over a foot in height.

i can see them making venom about spidey size, and not the huge douche that he was in the comics. it'd be more realistic, you know. to have him spidey sized. with teeth. it'd make for more intense battles

I LOVE SPIDER MAN MOVIES MUCH BETTER THAN X MEN AND SUPERMAN

i think they're up there with fuckin' star wars and i am really psyched to see this one

SANDMAN RULES

Yes, because everyone knows about the Shield Wizard.

Anyway, I don't wanna go see another Spiderman movie. The last one put me off. I sat there for what felt like three hours and felt no twinge of joy, sadness, fear, or excitement in my body. It was a snooze fest, all around.

I haven't really liked any comic book movies save the spidermans and maybe Xmen 1 and 2.

It might be because I don't like comic books and I typically don't like movies anymore..

No scru, its really just that most comic movies suck. Comics that would make good movies aren't marketable. I liked V for Vendetta alright, X-men was ok, Spiderman 1 and 2 were great, along with Batman Begins, X2, and Sin City. Other than that most mainstream comic movies are awful. Watchmen keeps getting tossed around, Preacher rumors abound, BBC commissioned scripts for an Invisibles series that never got made, for one reason or another the good projects just don't materialize.

I don't like how they made you feel for Doc Ock, hes one of spideys worst adversaries, to my knowledge he wansn't this sypathetic shithole who had the arms controling him :O

Jeff The Ninja

Didnt Octavius And Peter Parker Have Respect for Eachother, Even fighting as Spiderman And Doc Ock. They new they were fighting for Different Ideals, but I dont think that either one could really kill the other.

Bruce Campbell as Captain America.

that is EASILY the worst idea I've ever heard

anyway, I'm sure we won't be seeing Venom until the very end of the movie. I saw the belltower scene in the trailer, so I know that THAT should play out canonically. if we DO see Venom, I'm really hoping for either "WE ARE VENOM" or "EAT YOUR BRAINS." unfortunately though, I've heard that there won't be tongue.

the_dudefather
Jul 7th, 2006, 08:24 AM
was just thinking that stereotype, but he probobly wont say anything or look as awesome as you would hope

plus, isnt sandman and green goblin going to be in the 3rd one too? its going to a bit 'crowed for space' in terms of supervillians

Jeff The Ninja
Jul 7th, 2006, 03:15 PM
Carnage better be in Spiderman 5.

unfortunately though, I've heard that there won't be tongue.

That is bullshit. I just hope they try to keep Venom looking like he should, the Way Todd Macfarlane Designed him.

No shit. You'd think that after a while, people who're trying to get accepted would learn to stop trying to make themselves look less lame by fucking referencing shit like evil dead all the time.

I like it, but I don't think it's automatically the coolest movie ever and bruce campbell is a god.

Comrade Rocket

i seriously think that im the only person in the world who doesnt like carnage and the whole seperation anxiety storyline.

i kinda felt everyone was like, "Hey Venom was a cool character so lets make another villian just like Venom but more violent, kids like violence right?" so then when that took off they decided to make even more venom characters. I think in total there is like 10 symbote characters and all of them (except for a few) have less personallity than a board of wood. I mean most of the time, they jump in, say something about eatting someones spleen and then jump right out again.

ArrowX
Jul 13th, 2006, 10:46 PM
I'm pretty sure all but one of the Separation Anxiety symbiotes died.

It would be way cooler to fit in somekind of Insidious Six move, or give Shocker a fucking part in a future one.

ItalianStereotype
Jul 13th, 2006, 10:58 PM
but it would be much cooler if you'd drop the whole "insidious" business. it's like you think you're impressing people by not using "sinister."

I like it, but I don't think it's automatically the coolest movie ever and bruce campbell is a god.

Yeah, I didnt like the first one that much. The second one was way better.
------------------------------

And, Im pretty sure all of the Seperation Anxiety symbiotes are dead. The only symbiotes alive are Venom and Carnage.

I also Liked the carnage story, but Not Seperation. It was like they tried to milk Venom for all he was worth.
