I think the only reason people forgot the first 2 GTAs + expansion is the fact that GTA3 + made us forget. I remember when I first played the 10 minute demo of GTA and it was all so new. That time has passed :(

They were very fun and GTA2 was awesome if you could get a bunch of people together for a LAN party.

How about Sorcerer's Kingdom? Oh wait... no one even knew the game back then..

gta2 had its moments, like loading up a armored car full of gang members and going nuts in an opposing one

or that mission where you had to kidnap a bus load of people and bring them to a meat factory, then watch them get forced in

Guitar Woman
Jul 14th, 2006, 03:14 PM
I heard about that meat factory mission, but I never got that far because most of the missions in the second level are too fucking hard >:

For some reason despite the fact that I only played it once that's my favorite game in the world.

Also that game called, maybe, "Contraptions" that was released back in tandyland where you had to save a woman by building a machine out of objects like seesaws, springs etc.

The sidescrolling fly-shooter Parodius on the NES.It was funny, addictive and it had nice digitized versions of famous classical themes.A bit on the easy side though and the replay value was not that great imo.

PS:ow yeah,it had pinguin pirates in it ^_^

I got through GTA II easily using the Tank Lasting trick.

You just steal the Kill Frenzy Tank on the first island, wait for the kill frenzy to run out, and just run shut over until you get 1-mil. dollars, and just precede to the second island. Then repeat on the second island. Just never exit the tank, because it gets locked up instantly :/

I liked the missions where the people go crazy, also the one where you go to jail and escape. I also like the one where you blow up the Pizza Cake restaurant.

GTA2 sucked compared to the first one.
GTA2 had a much better coding system with a hell of features that you could use. A hacked network game of GTA2 was the best time I ever had in school.

However, last year I played it on the PS1 & it was a huge turdbrick trapped in my mouth for the full five hours it took me to complete it. >:

I liked that game. I hated the part where you had to find all the wood and chop it, though

I can't beleive I forgot WIld-9 that game was awesome, you used the grappling beam to throw enemies down on spike pits so you could walk across them, or light them on fire and throw them at other enemies.

ahh the PS1's glory days

System Shock 1 – By far most the hardest game ever I have played. It took me 2 months to beat. SS1 gave me the creeps, for being out the same time Doom did I felt it was soft horror sci-fi shoot em up! Good Story, creepy sounds, one of the few games that keep you on your toes the whole game by creeping around every corner! (No god like powers or anything that made you feel at ease) I do not think even the average gamer can beat this game.

Crusader series – 1) No remorse 2) No regret! Both games where fun and will always be fun, killing everything and even office workers it was a blast.

Bio Forge – Kind of like alone in the dark, just that you die like instantly in 1 minute. This game you need to take time, because really you do not know what the hell you are or doing. (and that’s really the plot) till you start hacking computers and then the game picks up. Really hard puzzles and addicting action makes a top notch game that was forgotten or even not played. Another game I think an average gamer can beat.

Road Rash – A fun Sega game that is well far forgotten. Latterly killing someone with a bat knocking your opponent off a bike going 100mph is was way too fun. This game I think pulled the whole GTA idea, if you wanted to trace back to something. I can never finish the final level because the fastest bike you buy just fly off the screen. Anyhow fun, the series kind of died after they did a pc port.

Parker Borthers Presents “Montezuma’s Revenge” 1984
COINS EVERYWHERE! If you wanted to waste time on your Commodore 64 this was it! Puzzles where way to easy to throwing your keyboard across the room hard! But you keep coming back to it. Great way to challenge your friends to see who gets the hi-score before that became lame.

OUTPOST – Infograms
This was the game dreams where made of, think of Tome Raider but with a massive world you can interact with. Hard game, but once you pick up the main idea you get moving along really fast. Good music, great gun fights, par puzzles to figure out. In all a great package I say everyone should pick up.

Ultima Underground – if you do not know what Ultima is, you’re not a gamer!

It's not really a game that has been shit on by father time, but Final Fantasy 3 doesn't get enough respect. Everyone seems to have thier lips puckered around the shaft of Final Fantasy 7, which in my opinion was decent, but not great. Coincidently FF3 is my all-time favorite game.
