The Demo was just released online and over XboxLive a couple days ago, at first I wasn't too excited, but after playing the demo for about 20 minutes I was totally sold, if I had to give a quick description i'd say it plays like "Mercenaries + Far Cry + a little bit of Pilot Wings (the parachute aspect)"

I saw this and figured it would be very much like Boiling Point, i.e. look okish and sound okish but then suck when you actually play it.

The game has some pretty cool features with the "stunt" button.
Graphics-wise, the environments are very nice. Character models on the other hand could have looked a lot better. I didn't care for the shooting part of it, the auto aim lock makes it painfully easy to kill everyone without any problem at all.

it felt a bit chunky to begin with, but once i just used to the different 'stances' and stunts and such it became a lot of fun, if only the demo diddnt have a time limit and the inclusion of the grappling hook (or does it?) it would be a lot more fun.
highly tempted to get the full game

ya I haven been able to find the grappling hook, the third mission is probably the worst one, the helicopter controls are retard simple and the auto aim lets you kill people beside you.

My graphics card is terrible so I'll blindly assume I can't play it.

Its a shame because Its realy inexpensive to build a new gaming computer.
I have
Athlon 3800X2(dual core) S939 it cost me $339(cad) but since Socket AM2 came out the price dropped to about $189
1GB of ram is about $120
My GeForce 7600 GT KO is about $200

I played the demo and thought it sucked. Maybe I didn't give it a chance?

once you get used to the controls (and try some choper to choper jumping and other rad stunts) it becomes a bit more fun, might get it when its cheap

Tried the PC demo last night. The description said that it was a "Hitman-Far Cry-Mercenaries" blend. What they really meant was that like Far Cry, it takes place in a tropical environment, and like Hitman, you kill specific people. Unlike Far Cry, there's no creeping through the jungle and picking off enemies one by one, and unlike Hitman, you don't really need a strategy to kill the target, other than "stay on him and shoot."
That said, it does play a lot like a dumbed-down version of Mercenaries. Except with only one character. Also, having a grenade go off a few inches from your feet would usually kill you in Mercenaries, whereas it just causes Rico to hop backwards and take a little damage.
I might get it once the price drops a bit.

I'm gonig to rent this when it comes out on current-gen, as it seems like the kind of game I'd beat, then fuck around with the cars and stunts and etc.

I just liek killing people :( I cna't do it in real life, may as well kill somone wiht a rocket propelled boat being launched from the shore into a sleepy community then leaping into the air wih a parachute and opening fire on old women and children at the market.
Shit I should probably see a therapist

The reviews I've read so far aren't very flattering at all.

IGN's rating was odd, the written review gave it an 8.8, where as the one posed on the games page was 6.8

Actually it looks like there are 2 reviews there. One for UK and one not? You can open them both and they are different.
