Ghostbusters II was a good movie. I don't care what anybody says about it, I really enjoyed it and here's a list of 10 reasons why you should too:

I'm going to say that I liked it better than the original Ghostbusters.

It doesn't compare to the original Ghostbusters, but it certainly isn't the horrible movie everybody says it is. It gets a bad rap!

I think it had about 5 or 6 bad raps (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000006YYU?v=glance)

Sure, the first Ghostbusters movie was better; but as far as sequels go, part 2 was still pretty damned entertaining in my book.

Thank you. I've always felt that more people should lighten up about it.

Why'd you change his name from Mockery? You guys from the blog are so fucking strange... "Hey, -rog-, that was really funny!" "LOL -ROG-!" :lol

GB2 isn't bad, but it pisses me off that, for some ungodly reason, it's the only Ghostbusters flick Comedy Central ever seems to show. :(

Actually, the last time I saw the first Ghostbusters, I'm pretty sure I was in preschool :( .

I don't think it "doesn't compare" to it, it's just not quite as good, but still a damned entertaining movie. I find it just as rewatchable as the original Ghostbusters. It was just too overshadowed by the Batman and Indiana Jones flicks that it was sandwiched in between that year. People forget that it was still one of the most successful movies of '89.

Just look around the web for reviews of it, a lot of people like it, but a lot of people hated it for some crazy reason. :/

The Scolari Brothers scared the shit out of me, I remember going to some construction site and pretending it was a haunted house with my friends and to try and spook them i pretended like the scolari brothers just showed up :eek

I liked the part where the titanic showed up :( . I don't get why people seem to hate this movie either. Obviously not as good as the original but I loved it as a kid and still do. I remember being scared by that guy's eyes being flashlights in the apartment building though :o

Most people actually miss the Cheech cameo during the Titanic scene. I know I did (that is, haha, until I was old enough to know who Cheech was...)

I actually love the second Ghostbusters flick, and I place a good bit of the bad rap it receives on the fact that it was released squarely between two other 1989 summer blockbusters. One being Batman, the other being Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, I believe...

Still, according to figures, Ghostbusters II still did pretty respectible business. I'm glad it didn't do TOO well though because now I can get them dirtcheap on DVD at Wal-Mart, who's selling part I & II in a bundle for $15.
