Favorite PC game

i have never had a computer than could run the latest pc games, i have one coming in the mail know (THANKS STUDENT LOAN) and would like some recommendations.

oh and what do you peoples use now that bittorrent is dead?

All my favorite PC games are older ones like Subspace/Continuum and the original Postal game 'n stuff (and of course, Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo).
