For the record, it won't be Zod in his physical form. I read that his body was destroyed so he couldn't escape from the phantom zone, and instead, he's now possessing Lex Luthor and using his body as a vessel to do his bidding.

I'm a fan of the "alternate universe" type comics, you know, the ones that deviate from the typical mythology. My favourite is Marvel 1602. I love it.

I don't know if ALL comics are preteen drama. Some of them are more post adolescent drama. Y'know... teen titans, x-men, sure. But JLA, Batman, Superman... all reads like soap opera. Friday night primetime soap opera sometimes, but soap opera.

But that's the nature of serials, isn't it?

I watched it on the weekend. I was just waiting to hear him say "kneel before zod" and he did. It was reason enough to watch.

The thing is with Smallville, every season only the 1st and last episodes are important, the middle is generally Teen Drama fluff.

And this Clark Kent is quite possibly the dumbest one ever. He uses his powers in front of anybody who will give him the time of day.
