I haven't seen anybody post about this yet, so I'm not sure if you guys are aware of it. STELLA Season One is now out on DVD and I'm a happy camper. It pissed me off that the show was canned so quickly because, as I'm sure you guys know, it was one of the best things to come to Comedy Central in a while. Not that it's a surprise the show was cancelled since a lot of people probably wouldn't get their style of humor.

Well anyway, the DVD set comes with all 10 episodes, deleted scenes, blooper reel, etc etc. Not sure what my favorite episode was from the series, though the coffee shop rivalry definitely sticks out in my mind.

Here's a link to the DVD set if you're interested:

I'll also be holding a contest sometime early next month where you'll all have a chance to win a free copy of it. Gotta get word out about this DVD set somehow! :o

I bought it a couple weeks back, I haven't been online much so I haven't posted about it. :(

Funniest features = definitely the commentary. Especially when Showalter goes into random swearing conniptions at the end of every episode.

I've seen this at Hastings for a while. 'Tis gut.

Ah good, so there is commentary. I wasn't sure because it didn't mention it on the box like it normally would and I haven't had a chance to watch my copy of it yet.

I didn't think the American version of The office was funny or this show.

I actually really randomly found this at walmart, but I was 3 dollars short to get it.

The history of stella is suppose to be worth the cost in itself.

Maybe I should watch The Office, it sounds like my type of humor.

I guess Stella didn't have enough laughtracks for the retarded people to get the jokes.

The British version (the original) didn't have a laugh track. I don't watch TV that has a "laugh track". Stella is dry nerd humour that appeals to people that don't actually have a life and show's like this make there life seem interesting.

The 3 are supposed to make a cameo in "Reno 911:Miami", and Imdbs cast list seems to back that up.

That is generally the crowd you find on internet forums. You're barking up the wrong tree in the wrong forest.

I liked the Stella webipsodes better.

They weren't webisodes you buttfucker they made them for stage shows and yes, uploaded them to the internet and sold dvds of them

I thought the pilot episode of the series was the best pilot i ever saw. The first few episodes of the series weren't up to snuff, but the show got better as it went on. The last episode is beautiful.

The DVD has three hidden easter eggs, including a stella short from 2002 called BAR thats not on the Stella Shorts DVD, or on the website (that I know of)

I find it's funny that you say that Stella is for people that have no life, when you had requested to be banned from this forum just to get off the net so much.

Myself, I'm into the outlandish shit like Harvey Birdman, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and some of the stuff mentioned. Stella's pretty good , too.

I went to see showalter and ian black yesterday, and they were fucking hilarious.

Micheal Ian Black verbally sodomized a heckler. it was amazing.
