It's awesome.

I finished Chapter 2 last night. It runs on the GTA engine but the graphics are a bit better (art direction is a A). The gameplay is very open ended (no killing) with the different pranks and stuff you can do. You're basically a anti-bully during the story but the game lets you do things like stuff people in lockers, wedgies, stuff people in trash bins, egg people and much more.

The area is a lot bigger than at first thought. At first you are stuck to just the school grounds but you eventually unlock the town and area surrounding.

One other thing that also really stuck out was the music. It's strangely awesome.

I was actually a little suprised at how fun it is. I've played for about 6-7 hours so far. It's somewhere between 3-6 hours per chapter I guess depending on what you do. I might be going through it a little too quickly but there is a lot of meat on this game.

yeah it seemed to turn out a lot better than i would have expected (thought it was going to be 'the warriors' in a school or something)

will have to rent it next week. you can 'join' any of the school factions right? if so it will be Revenge of the nerds all the way for me

Well gaining "respect" in the factions is mission based so you earn popularity with each faction by doing missions for them.

You can dress like any faction you like but watch out for teachers and etc bitching about the dress code.

You can mess around a lot. One cool thing is placing marbles all over the floor in the boys dorm at about midnight and then pulling the fire alarm. :)

I think the XBOX version has been cancelled. I got up to 38% yesterday. Still not quite done with Chapter 3. Been taking my time through the 3rd chapter and messing around.

One of the jocks, I think his name is Ted, hit on Jimmy last night. I had to give the guy a swirlie. Now whenever I walk by him he mutters things like "I'm not confused!"

this game is way fun. I think it would be cool if it were a bit more like mercenaries. I mean the formula is there what with the 4 fractions. Do jobs for the Nerds and the Jocks like you less, do jobs for the greasers and the preps like you less and so on. But the story would kinda lack and that would suck because the story in the game is awesome.

You dont have to go to your classes but you get it trouble for skipping class. Its better to go to class anyways. You get bonuses for completing a course and once you have done it all you dont have to go anymore which really helps when you have to do missions. Jimmy has the whole sims thing that rockstar has been messing around with. Go to a clothes store and get a new shirt or hat, head to a barber and get a new hairstyle, how you get hair in the first place i dont think i want to know. The whole town is kinda small but it fits since your not flying around in cars, but instead on bikes and your skateboard.

weapons start out kinda lame. stinkbombs, firecrackers and marbles. But they start to get better once you get your slingshot and later on bottlerocket launcher and spudgun.

Riding around on a skateboard? Shooting a slingshot? Jimmy Hopkins is one "Aye Crumba" away from being Bart Simpson.

I was really disapointed with the ending. The chapter where you take over the jocks was way too short. Chapter 5 was just kinda lame. I mean its like, EVERYONE LIKES YOU OH WAIT NO THEY DONT. I mean i know gary was suppost to be pulling the strings but it was all so sudden that it didnt really have the effect on me it should have. The whole fight with gary on the roof of the school was fun. Now im doing the endless summer. I noticed an island over in the Old Bullworth Vale and swam out there. There was a pirate ship and i was like thats cool so i swam out to the island and there was a pirate. So i beat the crap outta him and got a pirate hat. It was cool.

Nicely done, yeah, I'm nearing the end myself. I took my time hardcore on chapter 3 collecting and doing extras before I moved on. Didn't get to play all that much this past weekend which I was planning on.

I'll finish this week sometime.
