If you don't know already, this a supergroup that just released its first single on the radio. I've been watching them for a year because it features the DeLeo brothers of STP fronted by Richard Patrick, the singer from Filter. STP and Filter were always two of my favorite bands, so I have VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS. I thought their first single, Goodbye, was so-so. Very very good, but not to their standards. Mainly I was worried that Richard forgot how to use his voice like it should be used, but listening to another song on their myspace page that doesn't seem like it's going to be a problem.

The greatest tragedy is that Eric Kretz, STP's drummer, was replaced by a studio drummer named Ray Luzier (more like Ray LUZER AM I RIGHT) for this band. The thing about Kretzle is that he was a mighty damn fine drummer, as I learned hearing him live, but he was rarely featured to his talents limits in the albums. I'd love to see the chemistry of a full-on neo-STP plus Filter. But, I guess I'll settle with this for now.

I just got the album yesterday. I really like it, except it doesn't have nearly as much variety in sound as I was expecting/wanting.
