I bought the goddamned game, but the signup site for the online accounts is down, so i can only play single player :( WTF :(

Sega fucking shafts the shit out of you on the PSO/PSU series. All i got in the box was a monochrome manual and the dvd in a paper sleeve. I'm kind of pissed at the lack of fan appreciation, but at the same time, i know the game is going to be so fucking good that it won't matter once i start playing online.

In short let me know if you have this game :O

I would love to get back into PSO (Played the hell out of it on my Brothers Dreamcast Years ago) but I have no DVD Drive nor the computer to run it (Probably).

Also, how expensive is it going to be online. I like MMO's but I cannot Justify paying 50+ dollars a month for a glorified Chatroom.

I had fun with the first PSO for the DC while it lasted. I was kind of thinking about getting this for the 360 but I think I'll pass.

Too many games to get in the next couple months. For this month I'd like to keep myself somewhat open for the NWN2 release (Gothic 3 seems to have been pushed back a bit for the US release).

It's 9.99 a month but i know it will be worth it. The graphics arent super detailed so your computer might not have that hard of a time running it. Also its out on PS2 if you have one.

There is no serial number BS to worry about like in the first one. You just install the game and pay for the Hunters License. The combat is pretty fun, and the game looks pretty good on high settings. The story really isn't too bad so far either, but i am still itching to play online.

is this the same thing they have on xbox live?

Yep. Console players and PC players can intermingle, too. I finally got online and it's pretty damned fun. Instead of having to pick a class and stick with it forever, you can now switch between classes for a small fee. It's fun, someone else buy this so we can plays together :O

PS you can now manually aim rifles so you don't piss away your bullets or specials with them. Every weapon now has TP points that determine its use. Guns have a limited amount of ammo, but specials for them are cheap, and melee weapons have no limit to use, but specials will drain their tp.

you do need your own copy for it to play online because of some internal security code but you can play the single player with a back up version.

Does anyone still play online? I just got my PS2 hooked up to the internet and nobody I know even has PSU.
