I'm currently conducting an experiment in hopes to save money. When I want to send a letter via mail, I will put my name and address in the middle part of the envelope. I will write down the return address of the person I want to send the mail to on the upper left corner of the envelope. All I would need to do is to mail the letter and hope for the post office to "return" the letter to the person I want to send the letter to without having to pay for stamps.
What are the chances do you think I have of succeeding this kind of experiment? I will keep you updated on how it turns out.

there used to be this trick i found out when I was a kid from the anarchist cookbook wherein you cover the stamp with a waxy surface and that thing they use to write over them doesn't work or something so you can reuse the same stamp over and over. I'm sure you could find the actual methodology on the internet.

That'll go over well with the relatives:
"PS: Could you please be a good accomplice and send me my waxy stamp back? Thanks grandma!"
Give your friends and family an illegal errand for Christmas! It's the gift that keeps on lying!

i don't think tricking the post office with a return address is going to make grandma happy either :O
