I like. Can you teach me to make ultra simple line drawings without them looking like crap?

those are very nice...could that be done by taking a photograph and then tracing the outline?

I do that occasionally. I wanted to rotoscope the mummy pictures for my secret santa story, but I couldn't find any cooperative volunteers.

Uhm, when you trace a photo, you're not really doing any work towards understanding what your lines are saying and just following directions. So, no.

i've found that tracing helps you understand a subject that is new to you as far as drawing goes.
I like them, they're all very expressive. The lips in the third one seem kinda off, IMO.
