I take issue with the idea that Adult Swim stinks. THeres stuff on it that stinks, sure (Robot Chicken, Boonocks, Harvey Birdman, etc), and therse stuff on it that perfectly fits Metal Militia's description of it. But theres some wonderfully creative things on it that make it all worth it. For every show that blows, theres a show that is as awesome as the other show blows.

Metalocalypse is awesome. dr. Roxxos music video is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. I'm not really one who likes metal or even things that make fun of it, but Metalocalypse is just fantastic. This is the episode in question. Venture Bros. might be my favorite show on TV at the moment. I really didn't like it when they aired that pilot/special, but the first season got really great really fast. I wish I was capable of writing for this show. Like metalocalypse, on paper its something that I really wouldn't find funny; like its based in a part of nerdy pop culture that I just don't care about and even have an aversion to, but the guys who write this are just so fucking good.

This episode here is the episode that made me go out and buy season 1 on DVD, download what had aired of season 2, and become a faithful viewer of the show, there are a few references to stuff that happened in previous episodes, but I didn't follow the show myself when I saw it and still loved it:

i dont watch adult swim as much as i used to. Venture Brothers is probably my favorite show off of it. i cant believe how well written it is for a cartoon show. and i also couldnt believe that the 2nd season was somehow even better than the first.

i liked aqua teens when it first came out, but the later seasons just werent funny at all. i'll probably see the movie though

i can do with or without tom goes to the mayor. i thought the bass fest episode and the episode with the guy who makes cow shit paintings were great, and rats off to ya was brilliant. some episodes though just arent very memorable. and some are downright awful, like that episode with the singing kid with asthma. ugh
