so there was a photo-op at a fund raiser, so what? my grandfather has had 3 pictures with the president, but he doesn't claim that he KNOWS him.

There's a big difference between claimin not to know someone and publicly, categorically denying having ever even met them.

I've seen this photo on a few sites already, and I've seen a few points raised which suggest that this might even be a photoshop. I don't really care one way or the other about whether or not Bush knew Abramoff, but people are too willing to accept this at face value.
