I don't know for sure, but I think it's this whole thing where people sign up and expect to be entertained without putting any effort in themselves, and then get disillusioned when everyone else is doing the same thing and piss off before the rounds start.

Then the direct competition in rounds start and they go all 'HEY, WAIT, I WOULD LIKE TO BE IN THIS AFTER ALL ;_;'

By the way, Qualifying people, the entire point of the qualifiers is for people to decide who they'd like to see in the actual competition. It isn't a cooldudes chill-out zone where you hang around and smoke cloves and just keep it real; You're supposed to be proving to people why you should be in the Mock Wars and not the other idiots.

We're extending the Mock Wars 2K7 Qualifiers competition to Saturday since the server was down for most of Wednesday.

E-mails have been sent out to all Mock Wars Participants and Unicorn Glitter Starship members. In some cases, several copies of the same e-mails, as we were trying to figure out the new mass-emailing system.

This extra day of competition will subtract one day from the voting on the Qualifiers, and the rest of the competition will continue as scheduled.

Hey everyone!

Nobody vote for me

My life is falling apart right now and I actually meant to take myself out of the running for this before the war started, but it was too late!

You're gonna have to trust me on this, I have (or had) somewhat big problems with friends, my house, my work, my online life, my lovelife, and my family, happening ALL at the same time. ON TOP of all that, I have this trip I need to get ready for, that I haven't even packed for yet, because I've focused all my energy on trying to explain myself to you guys, and thinking about how my life is hillariously falling apart.

These are all completely seperate problems, just happening at the same time, and I can't even focus for a second on the mock wars. It's not as horrible as it might sound, any of these problems would just be a minor annoyance on their own. But man, it's almost beautiful and poetic how all these problems have found their way into my life. I'm so distracted by everything piling on me that I can't even focus on one single problem enough to get truly bummed out by it. It's kinda entertaining to look at all this shit going down at once. I'm having kind of an out-of-body experiance, where I can appreciate the comedy of it all. I'm like some shitty sad-sack guy in a wacky comedy where everything is going wrong, I'm like Chevy Chase in Modern Problems, or Pheobe Cates in Drop Dead Fred. I'm just waiting for super-natural-power-giving radioactive waste or an imaginary friend to shake things up.

But seriously, don't vote for me. It won't hurt my feelings because i'm killing myself soon
