Hey... what's your favorite fictional world? It could be from a film, Tv show, cartoon, video game whatever. Like Middle Earth, or Zanarkind, matrix world... future of Back to the future. My personal favorite is uh..... i don't have one... my fucking life is surreal :(

Mmm, well, I'd go by whatever world Stephen King's "Gunslinger" triology is set in - Despite the fact I officially hate King for announcing his retirement and decision not to continue the series.

Wha? King's long since finished his fourth Dark Tower book (Wizard and Glass), and Dark Tower 5 (Wolves of the Calla) is probably coming out this year.
That would be my fictional world of choice too, anyway. I devour anything Dark Tower-related.

I'd say the Matrix world. I mean, Keanu Reeves would have infinite power, and I could just kill anyone who annoyed me and didn't know that they live in the Matrix.
I also like Middle Earth, but I really dig the Unreal, and Command & Conquer Universes. :love
that Mobile Suit Gundam future is pretty nifty as well, I mean, they have MECHS!!!!! :love
Then there's that world in my head, but I don't know if that counts. :/
Oh, let's not forget that future from Space: Above and Beyond. Thatshow had Gunnery Sargeant Hartman, AND, a cool theme song, AND lots of weapons, not to metion cool aliens.
speaking of which, I like that "Alien" future, with lots of evil corporations, and evil aliens, and bigass spaceships. :)
and, Stephen King? The running man world, defiantely.

WOW! FS you are my personal lord and saviour. I'd forgotten about the fourth book, as beautifully written as it was (I admit it, I'm a big sap, I felt sad as hell at the end), but I'd seriously heard that the series was at an end because King was shot or something, and didn't intend to write anything anymore.
I have a reason to wake up in the morning now ;)

I think King did not believe he was going to finish the series just after his car accident, but he's been in business again for a few years now. Last time I checked his website (http://www.stephenking.com), it said that there's probably three more Dark Tower books coming (5, 6 and 7): Wolves of the Calla, Susannah's Song and the Dark Tower.
The situation of him questioning his writing career is probably explained in his non-fiction work "On Writing", which I have yet to read.
