Several years ago I used to make Garfield fan movies on Newgrounds, under the name 'lordbanana'. Because of silly concerns like ethics, I got rid of my illegal copy of Flash and destroyed all of my work. Well, the good news is that I now found a freeware flash animation program, and I have made some new Garfleed fanmovees. I would like to share them:
http://rapidshare.com/files/19303929/Garfield.swf
http://rapidshare.com/files/19225113/gerfleed.zip
The first one, Garfield Fan Movie #7, is after my traditional cinematic style, heavily influenced by Jean-Luc Godard (not really). The other two, in the zip, are Garfield Fan Movie #8 and Garfield Racist Movie #1: The former is pandering to populist tastes; the latter is a deep exploration of prejudicial themes using techniques culled from the German expressionist classic The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari and Sega Master System's classic Shinobi.

I find the reference to Jared Roberts' work 'Homo Colens' to be excitingly relevant and fresh. The piano tune in the background was no less than invigorating, and your artwork was a feast for the eyes.

Thanks, Sacks, for that wonderfully insincere appraisal. Now there's also a streaming version (http://pages.globetrotter.net/passetemps/gerfleedreams.swf). Unfortunately, it's not the best one, but it little matters; as Bluefox rightly points out, and which I've never thought of before, making these movies is somehow sad and pathetic. But you don't have to feel that way while watching them, for my Garfield is striving to be meaningless and gay like the motley fool on a heath.
Good heavens, don't click anything but the buttons!

How about putting them someplace where we don't have to download it to our desktop
