Eusohlim Vs The Mock Warrior - The Mock Warrior
Reason: milhousE made me laugh, once, when he posted himself doing a 'white boi' dance. The Mock Warrior made me laugh, almost every post. Completely polishing-up their 'fighting' skills, and showing alot of promise.

Rongi vs Nate - Rongi
Reason: What can I say, sometimes I vote for the underdog. In this case, Nate pulled a 'Houdini' and flew straight in as OJB; No wonder rongi was flustered, most would of cried and ran away. Which almost was the case, but with some support and encouragement, Rongi said 'fuck it' striking back hard, and it showed.

Esuohlim Vs. Mock Warrior

I CHOOSE: MOCK WARRIOR
Why?: This was a pretty good fight! But there was one thing Milhouse did that annoyed me. The whole "OH YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE FUN OF ME FOR DOUG FUNNIE THING" comic reminded me when Rog went off on Sadd for making fun of Boo Berry, which wasn't funny at all. Milhouse did pretty good otherwise, but Mock Warriors "Did you draw yourself a boner" sealed the deal (because it fucking does look like it). Great Job, guys :(

Orange Juice Bruce Vs. Rongi

I CHOOSE: ORANGE JUICE BRUCE!

Once again another person who I think can be funny when they try didn't do shit. While Rongi did a LITTLE bit more then Kahljorn or Bubba, it still wasn't anything special. Especially since he was asking to be disqualified in the commentary thread. Despite his hard work, Orange Juice Bruce wasn't too spectacular. Yes, the reveal was shocking but not so much funny. The dolphin thing was meh. The whole Cage Match thing was awful, I don't get how that offends Rongi other then the fact OJB has friends who will totally vote for him. But he made up for it with his Voltron thing, which was well done. OJB didn't bring his A game but he put up a super-admirable effort considering his opponent did shit, which is something that we need in the Mock Wars.

-It seems he really took some comments to heart, and toned down his shtick a lot. It ended up being a lot tighter, and therefore funnier. So while Mock Warrior was improving and showing talent, Esuohlim continued to seemingly phone it in with a poor effort.

-OJB is one of the most clever posters on this board. He's just got this style, and you look at it and you go "That's OJB, right there." And it works. It works and it's funny and I really like seeing what he offers up in the Mock Wars.

Esuohlim didn't really have anything funny or interesting to say. THE MOCK WARRIOR apparently started the fight off with an agenda to defend Lenor's honor, then went on to make fun of Esuohlim's doug entries, but made it so accurate to what Esuohlim does that he kinda forgot to take a jab at Esuohlim while doing it. The caricature of Esuohlim was good. Esuohlim's dancing gif had a sort of distinguished funny to it that he's good at, but the final MOCK WARRIOR post was hilarious to me and made this a clear decision.

Kudos to OJB for unveiling himself at the beginning of the match and not just doing it at the end for an automatic win (following through with the character would normally have been preferable, but he was banned before the contest and kinda had to sneak back in anyway). Rongi then got so scared that he pissed all over his favorite jeans and excused himself from the thread. OJB didn't really have to do anything here, but I'm sure we're all glad he did. The Waldo and final voltron posts were funny, and OJB has a certain je ne se quois that is unique to the mock wars if not the internet at large, and it's easy to see why he's a guy you feel good about voting for. He could probably just critique the decor in his opponent's house for an entire round and pass on account of him being your best internet buddy and you all are tight like that.

man i haven't seen two dudes go at it this hard since dick dastardly and muttley joined up on the race track. it felt like they were both on the same page, and at the end of the day it just came down to who was slightly muttlier. esuohlim came on strong with grand scheme after grand scheme ( i was especially fond of the toilet part ) but the mock warrior always seemed to be right there by his side, poking little holes in his plans with both relevant points and non-sequiturs (especially the fun time with esuohlim activity sheet). this was the kind of stiff competition that keeps the mock wars worth watching kudos to both of you dudes it was a real toughie to vote on!

i'm afraid this event was far more one-sided than it should have been. rongi's points, while true (ojb came out too soon) and pertinent (he used photoshop almost exclusively) just didn't have enough substance in light of the overall effort put forth by ojb. rongi had more than enough material to work with due to the past dramas that were put into reach with the nate flax disguise removed, while ojb was pretty much trying to wrangle whisps of smoke due to rongi keeping pretty much anything personal hidden. with this in mind i simply had to vote by effort and ojb really came ahead in that department

but esuohlim gave a commendable fight, and honestly the whole typing thing was somehow funny to me. probably because of the windows icon. i mean wtf, it was funny.

i understamd rongi's bravery leaking out of his pants when faced with OJBs dashing good looks but come on. you can make a joke about a guy who had all his shit thrown on the front porch? make hobo jokes, make deadbeat dad jokes, make "you don' her wron'" jokes. but no, you just froze up and let his cheesy ass steamroll you to clown town with his mad computer skills.

Most of this match kinda fell flat for me (I totally didn't "get" the Doug reference having never seen that show, but then Esuohlim's retort wasn't that funny either), but in the end, Mock Warrior made me laugh more. The "did you draw yourself with a boner" parting shot was one of the funniest lines in the entire Mock War so far, and a PERFECT example of mocking. Esuohlim left himself wide open for it, and Mock Warrior went in for the kill.

This fight was just sad. I like Rongi, but it was like he totally gave up after the OJB reveal. I don't know if he was intimidated or what, but OJB seemed prepared to coast to victory by virtue of his name alone, and many of his jokes fell flat as a result (the dolphin thing, the cage match). If Rongi had stuck around for the fight, he might have been able to pull off a win, but when he finally did strike back, it was too little, too late (and OJB took Rongi's joke and made it funnier by wearing the "Party Time" sticker on his shirt in his next post). The final Voltron picture still cracks me up every time I look at it.

Milhouse backwards did good, but he has lost it since his opening round. Mock Warrior was able to pull off lots of funny without really doing a great deal.

Man am I pleased to see OJB. Bruce was the person I was rooting for throughout the whole of the last Mock Wars, so seeing him back here is sweet. Rongi basically shat all over the floor on this one (sorry Rongi) and his performance couldn't meet Bruce's. Also that Transformer stuff was great.

i actually thought the chainposting by th mockwarrior character was funny :< not by the third page but. anyway this fite felt like total ded air as i was home much of the last couple days and reloading feverishly to see someething to read on th intarnet. the parting shot was great! but the rest kinda made my eyes roll back into my hed. D: esuohlim amused me with his postings.

Rongi v. Nate Flax - Unfortunately Rongi didn't put up much of a fight. I felt a lot of OJB's jokes fell flat, as has been mentioned by a few people, but i'm used to Eric's jokes falling flat...the bastard. Doesn't make the ones that hit home any less funny. The lion head was kinda rad, i have to admit. But, sad as it is to admit this in public, I actually liked the voltron made of all the little vehicles. Also, the jokes that hit home most for me were Rongi's "Well, this is anti-climactic" and the "Shit" thought bubble.
