I figured a lot of us own some decent weapons around the house. I've got:

-a crappy ten dollar "ninja" sword made in pakistan
-a $15 machete
-a crossbow pistol from a thrift shop
-a .22 rifle
-a 3" blade pocket knife
-some ninja stars in the yard somewhere.

I keep it in the backyard under a tarp and tell nosey neighbours that it's my grandpa's old Studebaker... which is kind of odd, because it seems that lots of people around here keep their grandpa's old Studebakers under tarps in their backyards. :/

Bokken are pretty cheap down here, and i was thinking about getting one before i got a decent blade, so i can learn some sword practice instead of just swinging the damn things around, and a weapon that can snap a leg bone in half or kill a duelist doesn't sound like a bad wood-to-metal tradeoff to me.

yes they do, a couple of years back here in Holland, a guy murdered his mother with a ball-point pen. he fired it from a crossbow into her eye. it's known as the "Pen-killing" here in Holland.

A Chromed Motorcycle Chain, a wrist holstered Crucifix, and a ton for other chromed little blades and knives, baseball bat, a .45 colt, a glock 9mm, and a berretta 92fs (i think).

Everything is silver/chromed and/or black so i am always in a stylish matching outfit.

Wrist Crucifix and Motorcycle chain are my favourite though, never go ANYWHERE without them.

The :love Crucifix :love i put together myself and its base is sharpened to a razor edge and is held between the middle and 3rd finger when the hand is a fist, and other times just holsters in the leather band.
