If it was a Dodge Neon like I used to have, it was bleeding before it even left the factory. >:
Sooooooo ... Details? Is there a manhunt? A bounty on his head?

A SLUT WITH STANDARDS. YOU HAVE JUST BEEN CROSSED OFF THE LIST. >:
it was a hit and run. dude came out of nowhere and ran into my front driver side, busting the tire all in and stuff. he had to be doing about 50mph in a 25mph zone. he took off, but the nice people behind him followed him and got his license plate number. he'll be caught, it's just going to take awhile.
this sucks because this is the fourth accident i've had in 3 years. only one of the accidents was my fault, but since they have happened so close together, my insurance has skyrocketed. apparently it's my fault that people run into me. go figure.

I'm glad the cat's alright. :(

If it was a hit and run, there's a good chance the other driver didn't have any insurance anyway. Of course they could have been drunk.
I'm glad you're alright and hope you don't get stuck with the bill. I'd have some injuries waiting, just in case it was some politician's kid driving.

if the guy doesn't have insurance, there's not much i can do. i just want the cops to nail him with every infraction that they can when they do catch him.
i hate car murderers.
and i'm glad the cat is ok, too. :eek

Hey, think of it this way! Atleast your car didn't MELT. You know, because sometimes they do. Sometimes you'll be launching 90 in the middle of the boonies, you'll snag a hay bail under your car. You'll panic, and you'll try to drive it out! But oh no, you forget the laws of FRICTION! So, naturally, the hay bail catches fire. You frantically flee the car, looking for help. And you know what? By the time you actually get to anywhere that isn't a fuckin' 50 year old unibomber style shack, your car is already a pile of molten ash. And the scrap metal guy wouldn't even take it.
Fuckers.

If you live in NY your really fucked even if they catch him. He'll get a ticket for leaving the scene, but once anybody leaves the scene, insurance companies claim no-fault and stick you with the bill. ( they even charge for trying to file a claim.)

I bet they do that because in New York people are always flying planes into buildings and that makes the insurances so much more expensive and worthless there.

My folks have an SUV. It is fun to drive, tho I've never taken it off-road.
No one NEEDS a pickle hat either, but if you want something, and can afford it, and you have no soul, then why NOT, huh?
PS: sorry bout your ride glo :(

Nobody needs an SUV. SUV's are pointless. Nobody drives off-road
anymore and they just guzzle gasoline down and are shit-load more expensive than a normal jeep. Just buy a Ford ar Dodge truck. I guantee it lasts longer. "Best trucks are built Ford tough."

Glowbelly, I'm really sorry. I was in a car accident a little while ago, and even though the guy stopped I'm still dealing with a lot of the shit that happened because of it. Still, I am so fucking happy that the people behind you got that asshole's number. Ohio seems like a decent place that wouldn't put up with that sort of shit. I know that here in California people tend to only look out for themselves and I probably wouldn't have been that lucky if it were a hit and run. Anyway, this dude is going to pay, and while you have to deal with a bunch of shit because of someone else's senseless action just be thankful that you didn't get too hurt.

When I was little and it was still the eighties, my dad had a fucking FIREBIRD. It was the definition of cool.
But it got stolen and when the police found it, the engine was gone, the seats (leather) were slashed and just about every valuable part that could be removed was.
:tear.

my car has been in the shop now for 16 days >:
they keep finding more stuff wrong with it and have to call the stupid insurance adjuster out to cut them another check so they can order the parts, blah blah blah.
when this guy is found, i'm really tempted to sue the pants off of him. my lawyer buddy told me that i should, but he then joked that he would probably end up defending the m-fer. >:
funny note: i got a copy of the police report because i have connections ;) and the cops on the scene estimated the guys speed at 70mph. the posted speed limit is 25mph. officer jimmy harrison of the cleveland police department promised me that he would make sure this mofo got cited for everydamnthing he could come up with from the police report.
it's nice to know people. :)
and there's my update for the day.

It's their own fault for having 9 kids anyway. Someone who has 9 kids is probably home schooling them anyway, so there really isn't a reason they need to go anywhere together. Except to church.
