Yeah, so I've gotten to the part where the floor changes color, and I'm just getting mauled by every monster there is.

Has anybody beaten this game? How much longer until I get that fucking goblet back? I'm a level 11 Soldier, by the way. I have okay equipment, but a shit weapon.

Beaten it plenty of times. The floor will change color another time before you get to the last level and the red dragon. Start playing smarter by doing things like hanging back and throwing any spare fire/ice/lightning rings at enemies instead of getting in close. Also, try to find a decent sword. If you ever find the gradius sword, keep it :O
