Has anyone else seen the trailer? I saw it on hit show "Nothing But Trailers". I don't care that they generally are terrible, but I'm gay for the Resident Evil series. I was sorta disappointed that they didn't show zombies, but whatever.

Games are awesome...Movies are terrible.

It looks like it's got the post-apocalyptic thing going, so that might be a saving grace. The first one was ok, but the last movie was terrible.

By the looks of the trailer, they're either completely abandoning the games or this is a sign of what the next Resident Evil game will be like. Does anybody know anything about RE5?

I really doubt that this is any indication as to what the the next game will be like, simply because it seems like the fan response to the movies has been pretty bad. Ya never know though.

i did not think any of the movies had anything to do with the games

They did, albeit loosely tied plotlines, but they still had shit from the games in 'em. This final movie, however, appears to completely abandon the storyline of the games as far as I know. Then again, I don't think anybody watches these flicks for the deep storyline.

You're definitely right about that. They're entertaining if you forget that they're supposed to be tied to the games, and you're watching with friends and drinking or something.

Also, there's gonna be some hot ladies in this movie :O

In the first one, Milla flashes her 'hoo-haa'. She makes sure to point it out in the commentary.

I enjoyed the first two films for being what they are - cheesy zombie/action films.

I really don't care what the plot is, as long as there isn't another "church" scene its could be good. It was confirmed that theres gonna be Hunters and other monsters in it, which is a good thing.

How about cheesy zombie/action film with Milla meets Road Warrior post apocalyptic wasteland? I'm sold!

I would even be down with a Monster Squad meets Omega Man situation.

In the second one Mila showed them sweet raisins as well.

And thus, another selling point for the movie.

Oh come on J, you can't honestly say you didn't enjoy any of the first two movies. They fulfilled their destiny of being cheesy, shock-scare, zombie flicks. And of course they are based on a video game so you can't take them the least bit seriously.

I did indeed enjoy the first two films, though I can't recall much about the second. I love me some zombies though....

The second one was worse because they had a black man who I'm pretty sure was a pimp. Not that that is a bad thing, but it was pretty predictable.

I haven't seen the second one, but I was actually impressed by the first one.
Impressed, that is, in that it actually managed to be well....a movie. A cheesy movie, but one that was at least entertaining and didn't completely fall into the usual video-game movie trap of being completely unwatchable.

But then again, I'm just a whore for zombie movies as is.
