Mockery

I want to see if, with the help of our forum members, we can get an article "Dugg" on Digg.com . Once an article gets on there, their readers often provide us with good feedback and some nice Fark-like traffic to boot.

Just follow that link and then click on the "Digg it" on the left. If you don't have an account, just create one real quick and then Digg it.
The article already got linked on a variety of sites today which was real nice, but if we could start getting listed on Digg regularly, that might help drive some additional people to the site and I'm always looking for ways to make this place grow. Hooray for growth! Hooray for tumors!
Once you've Dugg the article, please make a post in this thread so I thank you with the emoticon of your choice. :O

There is a whole shit storm going down on Digg after they deleted a post about the HD-DVD decryption key and all the nerds threw a hissy-fit and decided to flood the site with new topics about the key. It's pretty lame even by Digg standards (don't get me wrong, I like the site but there are some real queers on it).

Oh god don't start that here.
I can't believe how retarded the majority of the Digg community are being.
They keep saying stuff like "WE'RE FIGHTING AGAINST THE MACHINE!!" and "VIVA LA REVOLUTION" as if they're fighting for some great cause. It's quite funny really.

I refuse to cooperate in aiding I-Mockery, they just delete my/my friends posts all the time!
If anything, there needs to be a site so I can exhume the hideous corpse that is I-mockery for all to see!

Gracias all, thanks for digging it. I'm not sure what the number is before an article becomes "popular" on there, does anybody know?

The digg guys are hailing it as a "triumph of free speech" even though its on a patented and copywriten product.

It's not just the total number of diggs that make an article reach the front page, it's also how quickly the article gets diggs, how many page views or comments it gets, etc. A story on digg can hit the front page with only 50 diggs if dugg up quickly. At least that's how I understand the algorithm to work. They change it now and then though.
ArrowX:
How can you copyright a single series of numbers without telling the world what those numbers are?
** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** <--- COPYRIGHTED
09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5H D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C1 <--- AVAILABLE
09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5H D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C2 <--- AVAILABLE
The copyright argument is bogus. It only applies for an entire protection system, not a part of a system (i.e., a hex string).

I've had a few things on Digg, but I've never really seen that big a boost from traffic. In fact, I just redesigned my site and dropped the digg add button. Stumbleupon, however, always nets huge daily numbers....is i-mockery, er, stumbled?
