Dont you see, the mushroom kingdom is brooklyn. Super Mario Bros is just the story of one lonely plumbers experiment with psychedelic mushrooms and the resulting "Adventure" he went on trying to get to the esso at the end of the block for some Cheetos and Mountain Dew.
