has anyone seen this yet? It just started 2 weeks ago, and it most likely the only really entertaining show G4 has ever aired.

For those of you not in the know its pretty much the non anime portion of adult swim humor done entirely with edited sprites from river city ransom.

It's real bad news when anybody considers this show as the highlight of any channel.

It's more like the non-Space Ghost,Tim and Eric,Dethklok of the adult swim. You know, the not funny portion?

the funniest part of the show is seeing are the clever jokes on the top and bottom parts of the scene get covered up by those big weird popup ad things tv channels use now.

There's Ninja Warrior...and X-Play (Which used to be good.).

G4's story is without a doubt the most bizarre cable channel story.

I mean, it all started with TechTv (Or Ziff-Davis TV). Great channel, great variety of shows, everyone loved it. They focused on lots of tech, had one show on video games (X-Play, which used to be Gamespot TV and then Extended Play), and Anime Unleashed!...which was the most cathartic, monotoned shit on TV. Oh, and Thunderbirds.

G4 had Icons, Cheat!, Arena (A stupid show featuring one of the american gladiators), and about a dozen other shit programs no one cared about.

Then TechTv sold out, merged with G4. The shit integrated and pretty much ate TechTv. Only Cheat! (Which is different), X-Play (Which isn't funny anymore), and Icons (Which became a show about praising random people in movies and tv.) remained. It went from catering to geeks...to nerds.

I actually liked Icons, until I realized I knew almost everything about what they covered in every episode. Cheat somehow manages to become more terrible with each new host. Filter is gone and it was actually fun to watch when they had the Chick who played Fuk-Mi in Austin Powers hosting it. But now the channel is so fucking deprived of programming everything aired after 1pm is a rerun form earlier that day.

I wonder what constitutes an Icon.

They did one on Sacha Baron Cohen and he's only famous for two mildly entertaining characters. And on Eli Roth. And the Suicide Girls.

I don't even know who the Suicide Girls are.

As far as I'm concerned, the only channels worth watching are Spike, Fox Movie Channel, IFC, AMC, and FX. Rescue Me is just good, pure and simple.

G4 sucks unless you can somehow see a really old rerun of X-Play. What the hell, a musical? And cops? And whats with the fucking FEED BAR at the bottom of the screen? All points already hit but come on its the same shit all the time. It reminds me of MTV. The network for gaming that shows video games once every 3 months. MTV having music that is on every year or so and when the planets are aligned. And when it does it sounds like something pleasant to a person who likes nails on a chalkboard.

are there different schedules for Canada and the US for G4? because It apparently doesn't air ever. Even though they advertise the shit out of it now. I go to watch it at its alloted time and theres this shitty British show about video games.
