They change theirs more than that I think, like... they've had Dilbert in their logo and I don't remember there being a national Dilbert holiday. And even if there is, you won't catch me celebrating it... unless of course I'm employed and there's a chance it could get me off of work.

Google once did an entire week of "strips" with Dilbert inside their logo. >:
Google changes their logo everytime a bear shits. They've changed their logo for every holiday, sporting event, or semi-important news event for the past few years.

Aye, I don't wanna overdo it... we'll probably just establish a set of various holiday pickleguy images and rotate them throughout the year every year.

Well i think it should be:
Easter
Christmas
Halloween
Valentine's day
I only say that so its not biased on country (America). I know a lot of us come from different countries and dont necessarly celebrate Martin luther king jr.'s BD or 4th of july

Call me crazy, but I don't think I-mockery is the kinda site that would celebrate how cool it is to be American :/
Then again, I could be wrong :(

I wouldn't celebrate america really, well, maybe have pickle guy holding up Zimbabwe's official flag or something on the 4th of July just to be an ass.
As for Martin Luther King, I don't think having PickleGuy holding his dead corpse would go over well.

Esther was the pagan Roman (or Greek?) god of fertility. The day that the Romans gave honors to this god happens to fall on the same period as Jesus' death and subsequent resurrection (if you believe in it). The eggs and bunnies symbolize fertility. I saw a website that gets all into the mythology but I'm too lazy to look it up right now.

yeah, I knew that it fell on a multitude of pagan holidays (being around the equinox). Didnt know that the name was from the Roman religion, at least Im sure its roman, since Ive studied Greek mythology, and I dont recognise the name :/

Actually, I've heard it in conjunction with Egyptian gods as well. It's hard to tell as the Romans tended to borrow a lot from other cultures. If I remember right, I think Neil Gaiman refers to it in his novel American Gods.
