Bleh! Don't understand the appeal. They were about as loud as the Beach Boys. Proof that old isn't necessarily better.

I only said because you wanted to know.

I saw the Ramones around 89-91. Still one of my favorite concerts. My ears rang for three days.

id like to know what people think of them, i think there the best rock n roll band of the late 1900's and inspired most of the good rock out there in some way

Yes, the 1900s sure were a rockin' time. The Ramones weren't the best rock band of any time, since there were always a ton of bands better than them. Their first album is pretty great, but after that, just hit the stop button.

Leave it to Snakeass to be completely humourless even when taking petty spelling stabs at people.

You can't hate the band behind Rock n' Roll High School.

Ramones, yes, influential band, but you have to give credit to other great bands after AND before them.

Never mind the fact that Johnny is a reactionary racist asshole. Supposedly his nickname was "KKK" and he stole Joey's girl, hence "KKK took my baby away." According to my friends that knew them, Tommy, Marky and Dee Dee were cool though. Good band, but I trust inside sources, and I even kinda know Daniel Rey. Worked with him once.
