last night, i was playing cs. it was like 85 degrees in my room, and i had all my windows open. my computer in my room is pretty old, like 3 years. and in the middle of the CS round, my computer just turns off. "it just overheated", i think to myself. so i unplug it and put it up to the window so it will cool. like a pie. AND IT GOT EATEN :(

haha, no. i thought that would be funny :( anyways :( i go to plug it in this morning to see if it will turn on, and it does. okay, so i plug everything up and try to get on. except the monitor was acting like it couldn't find a computer, it was just staying black. i checked it's cord and re-plugged it and still it just sits there, black. ugh. i don't know what to do now =\ is the computer dead, or something? :(

Maybe one of the cords got loose on your computer or something. That is what happened to me. They usually go back because they are just loose, but it is always good to check. If that is not it, I don't know what is.

I had a power cut today.
I found it annoying.
I spent the time examining my existance.
I cried.
I hope the power never stops again.

I forgot that I had to plug my monitor into the video card's socket, and not the stock one.

You know those little metal spike things in the plug that connect your moniter to the back of your computer? The ones that have to line up to the all the little holes where you plug the moniter in? Well, one time they were so unfixably bent on my moniter that my moniter wouldn't work at all and I had to buy a new one. Maybe that's what's wrong.

edit: or not. :(

One time my computer almost killed me. Sparks shot out and the breaker in my room got tripped. the end.

Good to know that you are just a moron and your computer isnt broke.
