For the first time. So, yes. THIS IS LATE, BUT FUCK YOU, OKAY?

I don't know how anyone could hate this movie, I loved it. As an avid fan of the game, this was by far the best treat capcom has given us. It was just 1 big huge explanation about how the T-Virus got loose into raccoon city! Actually, now that I think about it.. It dosn't explain AT ALL how the T-Virus got loose in Racoon City. Unless when they go back to the Hive to re-open it, they get swarmed as zombies pour out. But you had to take a train to get to the entrance, man. Either that or Matt mutates into the Nemesis (Or Tyrant) and uhh starts transforming people into zombies?

Groan.

(I havn't played any Resident Evils past Veronica/Nemesis, I havn't owned any systems to play them with.)

I go over all of this in my 50-page rant about how much this movie sucks.

For example, Milla Jovovovovich and the other guy are Umbrella agents posing as a couple who live in the mansion. But the mansion is actually the entrance to The Hive. Some cover.

"Oh look, honey. That nice young couple is having another 9-5 party with 200 of their closest friends."

The mansion was one of the secret entrance/exits, there's a train that runs to the hive and to the forest that outskirts Racoon City.

Not only did it basically say "Who cares if people like the game plots? We'll make our own!", it stole good shit from other movies and that's something that really pisses me off.

The "mansion" was the only way to access the train, if I remember the movie right.

But I probably don't. I tried to block most of it from my mind.

I figured it would try to make a horror-suspense movie and fail miserably. Then I realised they were trying to make an action movie.

They failed miserably.

The clichéd "Tough Military Girl" pissed me off, the plot pissed me off, the crappiness of the effects pissed me off, the way that I've seen better zombies in stage musicals pissed me off, and... you get the picture. I don't need to go over what everyone else has said a million times. I just plain didn't like it.

Yeah, but he's talking about the movie, in which it's not explained how it got out. And you can't use anything from the games to explain anything from the movie. They sure didn't.
