I remember these two Claymation specials about some pig. One is an Easter Special where he tries to take over Easter by being the new Easter Bunny (it even has a scene with the Easter Bunny, another rabbit, and another pig inside a shark, and the other rabbit sings a sad song that moves the shark and spits them out), and another one is a Halloween one where he explores a monster-filled caste with a snail at his side.

Certain types of animation can become cliche. Film will never be cliche because it's real life. Would you still like Conan or Zelda if it was done entirely in crayon?

It lost it's when they started using computers instead of true-stop motion. Dammit, it may have been jerky, but it had a certain je-ne-sais-quoi that gave it charm!

You are still missing the point, Paul. There are other factors going into weather or not this will be good, like the WRITING.
