This is going to be a prequel, it looks like. Snake looks younger than in mgs2, he's still got the full cheek going. I'm just wondering how you'd manage to maintain a stealth action game in the middle of the jungle? Whatever it is, i know it's going to totally kick ass, as long as it doesn't go the way of Capcom and just start churning out the same game every year to make more money. :/

Metal Gear usually doesn't disappoint (excluding Snake's Revenge bleh). MGS was better than MGS2 but MGS2 was still a awesome game overall. I can't wait.

Snake's Revenge doesn't count. It wasn't even made by the MG team, and will never be acknowledged in he storyline.

Anyway, I don't know how you can tell Snake's age from a low-quality vieo, Ninjavenom. Frankly, he could be younger, could be shaven, could just look younger from eating raw snake. Who knows?

As for Jungle stealth. There's tree. There's rocks. There's squirrels. And I'm sure there's going to be a base or two you infiltrate.

Snake Eater??? I got a gut feeling that's not the official title of MGS3. By looks of this movie, it could a remake of the first Metal Gear game but I'm just gonna wait till E3 for the official announcement.

EDIT- I just found out what a "snake eater" is. It's a military slang for members of the Army Rangers. They got that nickname because their specialist jungle training involves cooking and eating snakes. Now the title makes sense.

Ah, it appears there really is little difference between the two upon a second viewing, James, but that doesn't mean that it still can't be a prequel. I doubt Solid Snake (who no longer works for the US government, mind you) would be sneaking around in a jungle during wartime wearing dogtags in anything but a prequel to what events we've already seen.

Anyway, Radar is confimed as still being in the game. It's also confirmed that it will be Cold War-era. This also means Raiden has yet to be born.

This also means that the Snake you see and play as may actually be Big Boss (Kojima's sly little hints, so take it for whatever it's worth to you)... Very interesting.

I just saw the first half of the E3 teaser on Tech TV's X-Play (they're showing the other half later).

Pictures and tiny crappy videos on Gamespot/IGN/whatever don't do it justice. Seeing it on the TV makes you realize how awesome the game really is. Kojima really knows how to make the PS2 an X-Box, in terms of game quality.
