I've been trying for weeks to come up with the perfect flowchart for Vince's posting in almost any thread he appears in, and how they degenerate as the thread continues... I think I'm getting close, please chime in with anything I may have left out or if the order of things seem wrong:
1. Vince begins by making a post that he views as 'serious' or 'intellectual' - unfortunately, this initial post makes him look like a
complete ass. This step is extremely essential when he makes it known that he wants to be taken seriously.
2. After taking the ensuing beatdown, he defends his post by saying that he was joking i.e. being sarcastic, 'making himself look dumb' or simply typing too quickly.
3. After a few more (usually brief) stinging remarks, Vince begins to ridicule how the insults are childish and meaningless, and nothing to his original point.
4. Vince now has had his ass shredded many times. He begins to crawl into shell of 'I don't care about (pick one): this board, a specific poster, the issue in question, etc. etc. This indifference is usually shown by Vince mentioning that nothing that anyone writes to him disturbs him, because he just does this to have fun and see people's reactions to the 'stupid shit' he writes. This is where he will also begin to refer to the 'real life' that he has outside of the message board.
5. Continuing to be insulted relentlessly, he finally retorts by asserting his superiority, telling us about his large penis :lol ,
his sexual conquests, and how our mothers may fit into the latter...
thus showing us all how truly intellectual and meaningful he is.
please help unravel the mysteries of this truly remarkable manthing.
