To be stuck inside of Mobile
with the

BE LIKE A ASTRONAUT AND EAT

Often as children in our excitement we would call them
"Space Stick Foods".

Wow. The invention of space food sticks must have been a pretty big deal for them to dedicate the entire front page to them.
I used to love them, back when I could find them. I never see them any more. They were extremely expensive though, for some reason. And they never tasted like what they were supposed to taste. I don't know why I loved them so much, actually. >:

We ate them because the Astronauts ate them.
We would do anything the Astronauts did.
We woud do anything for the Astronauts.
But then it turned out my "Uncle Mike" was not an Astronaut.
Or my "Uncle".
In a few years the last man to walk on the Moon will be dead, but the footrpints will be there. The flag will be there. The rover will be there. A golfball will be there.
They say they are making space food sticks again, but these are not space food sticks. Shuttle "Astronauts" do not eat space food sticks, they eat airplane food.
If my "Uncle Mike" had said he was a "Shuttle Astronaut", I would never have done what he said. Never.

I bet that wasn't really a Space Food Stick, either. ;)
Blasted space program propaganda. When will people learn.
