I think the problem lies in having any sentimentality about a group trip to see the Matrix.

Or the problem could stem from the fact that she suggested we see the Matrix together weeks ago, has talked about it semi-frequently and has only changed her plans as today's lunch hour.

It's nice of her to let me know in passing ahead of time, though. There isn't a feeling that I can quite match to being shut down like that while at the same time trying to accomodate the other person because YOUR plans have changed.

Of course, this is probably going along the same line with the fact that she has been distancing herself from me lately, yet has no qualms about asking for favours when she needs them (re: computer thing).

I think that I will be too busy to show anybody anything for the next little while.

EDIT: It should also be noted that I am extra pissed off since I was able to weasel my way out of working this Friday. This episode has cost me my pride and about $45 in wages that won't be earned.
