I remember talking to boogie a while ago about the possibility of a legacy of kain game with both raziel and kain and it looks like it's happening. Can't wait.
Edit: AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!! I accidentally clicked movies and television and didn't notice >:

I hope this time they actually add backround music. All of the games that Edios mak have no music at all. I.E. Tomb Raider series :(

I've been thinking about this too, a final game where fans of both Kain and Raziel can finally settle stuff. Unless they're allies now. I'm not checking out the link just yet, because I haven't finished Soul Reaver 2 yet - it's still lying in my room... somewhere...
Anyway. Kain. Yeah. Raziel. Nah.

I'm not a fan of either of the games. But this one looks promising...

it looks to me like this new one is set more in the soul reaver time period, which i fucking hate. i hate raziel, i hate soul reaver, and i wish they would keep going with blood omen. harumph >:

Yeah, I also prefer kain but raziel's got a different style which should be interesting.

I'm not a fan of the gameplay but it's worth going through it for the story. One of the best stories in a game if you ask me.

i thought raziel was throroughly killed off at the end of soul reaver 2?

*SPOILERS AHEAD*
No, Kain removed the Soul Reaver before it could destroy Raziel, and then Raziel faded back into the spiritual realm before he could hear Kain's warning about giving Janos Audron back his heart.

ItalianSteryotype, exactly how can you NOT like Raziel and the soul Reaver setting. IT ROCKS! It has one of the deepest, it not THE deepest, storylines in all of gaming history. Yeah, the gameplay is a little shallow, but they are fixing it for this latest installment, which, by the way, is entitled Legacy of Kain; Defiance.

simple. raziel is a big, blue fag and soul reaver sucks. i just personally prefer blood omen and kain.

OK, you are allowed to like Blood Omen better, I like tham both, actually, but I seem to have missed the part in the Soul Reaver games where Raziel came out of the closet. Could you refresh my memory?

Are they both worth getting for under $20? That's all I care about.

Both the Blood Omen series and the Soul Reaver series are worth whatever a game retailer will charge, so long as you value a great and intelligent storyline.

I think blood omen 1 and soul reaver 1 would be extremely cheap right now for psx or pc and I know blood omen 2 is one of the cheaper ps2 games available right now. I have no idea about soul reaver 2.

Right now you can pick up Soul Reaver 2 for about $15 new and $12 used. As for the first Soul Reaver I just bought it for about $6 used. At those prices I think its well worth the money for a game series with such and excellent story line and great voice acting.
