I found it while i was looking on IMDB for the guy who played Cyclops in x2, and i ran across this as one of his film credits. I'd certainly go see it, i think it would be interesting enough despite the fact that i've only read two issues of the book.

it'd be hard to do anything without giving it an nc-17, R it would be way too tame . you'd see the saint of killers unload his revolvers into a crowd of people, and there'd be 1-2 bullet holes and a spec of blood. yawn.

I'm not saying that to do it right they actually have to have Sheriff Root cut off his penis and stick it up his ass or anything.

As long as they keep the right attitude, I'll be happy. I see that Garth Ennis is listed as writing the screenplay on the IMDB. We'll see if that holds true if they actually make the movie, but if so, I have faith that Ennis will make whatever alterations are necessary to earn an R rating without watering things down too much.

There's actually been a Sandman movie in the works for a long time, based on issues 1-8.

Whether Mr. Miracle and the Martian Manhunter will actually show up is a bone of contention.
