My friend graduated from DigiPen. He loved it, but he said it was insanely difficult (not surprising). It's definitely your best bet for getting into the game industry though. He and a fellow classmate started a company shortly after graduation: http://www.i-imagine.com. They've released a game on XBox so far and have a couple of GBA titles in development.
