Yet another movie I never got around to see or even heard about untill last Firday.

This movie in now one of my favorite movies up there with Falling Down.

Willem Dafoe gave a damn good performance in this movie. I really liked the shootout where he was giving the commentary and the brothers and Rocco where acting it out.

Excellent film, but then any movie with Billy Connolly kicking ass can't go wrong. I can't wait for the sequel.

OH yes! I can't wait for this movie! Hopefully there won't be another school shooting and this movie won't get blacklisted from theaters.

That way I won't be a dork who finds out about movies 4 years after their making.

With you on the list, I now know a total of three people who have seen Falling Down. Such a good movie that no one wants to watch no matter what I say.

Don't you hate it when you know about an amazing movie no one wants to watch? Falling Down is a classic.

Most people I've talked to have seen "Falling Down" and love it. It's one of my favorites.

I have my doubts about a Boondock Saints sequel, too. The first one was so good it will be hard to follow up.

I had to go to IMDB to see what movie Falling Down was again, because the title sounded very familiar, but I was thinking of some stupid Cliffhanger ripoff.

It IS a great movie. I need to rent it again sometime soon. I also found this review of the movie to be entertaining, because I imagined the writer to be a very angry fat man:

Summary: We have all felt like this at some time!

Only a few hours before watching Falling Down i was in a local branch of McDonalds trying to order my usual Filet'o'Fish only to be told by the gormless spotty member of staff that it would take 8 minutes because they had none ready. When asked why they had none ready at the height of lunch time the moron proceded to tell me "it's because they arent very popular"!. When i tried to explain that they were not popular because every time someone tries to order one they have to wait an eternity for you to cook it, i was presented with a face of immense puzzlement and confusion! I'm not saying i would ever go as far as Michael Douglas does when he cant get his breakfast 2 minutes after the cut off time in this film but i understand EXACTLY how he feels.!. Falling Down is a very good interpretation on how if someone not quite the full package, comes up against the day to day greedyness ,rudeness and descrimination of todays western society and how he feels he needs to get his point across in his own way. This is a very good film and is superbly acted, especially from Duvall and Douglas. 8 out of 10.

Even though this was a Boondock Saint thread,

One of my Personal Favorites in Falling Down

(I haven't seen it in a while so just bear with me kay.)

In the park with a bum asking for money and Defenz turns him down.

"Is that how you treat a vet?"
"You're an animal doctor?"
"No, I was in 'Nam."
"What were you a drummer boy!"

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

I liked Boondock Saints so much the first time I saw it, but I tried watching again about a year ago and just thought it was kind of dumb.

Maybe it's a mood thing. I should give it another shot.

Boondock Saints was good enough for me to buy, but I wouldn't call it one of my favourites. A sequel to it just reeks of "bad idea".

Falling Down was damn fucking good, to me.

I could never get into Falling Down. I mean, sure, a guy going nuts against the whole of Western Civilization is a good idea, especially if he's fucking insane....but then again, he's probably what the problem is with Western Civilization: a non-thinking asshole who gets violent and abusive whenever real life intrudes on his fantasy of how he thinks the world works.

Through the part with the rocket launcher is fun....through how would that little kid know how it works again? ;)
