Rongi, the PS2's been out for 3 years.

Anyway, the Hard Drive. Should be released at least by early 2004 (though they may try and get it in before the holidays). Final Fantasy XI will come with it, seeing as how you need the HS to play it.

Rongi, the PSX is supported by the PS2 hardware. Think of it as an iPS2 :/. As for the PS3, that has to be the biggest bullshit ever to be published in the news. I've heard better delayed April Fool's jokes.

I don't get what this PSX is supposed to be. I've never heard anything about it until now. I heard of a revised PS2 that was coming out eventually, but not this.

And yeah, the PS3 stuff is a joke. If that were what the PS3 was going to be, I wouldn't be terrified of it.

But Sony's always been good with their marketing. They don't pull that shit all too often. The ocassional price drop, but not enough to force you to hold out for 2-3 years. X-Box was pretty good too. GC is the one that pulled all that crap. Buy one fore $125, and get one of the system's better games for free. Meanwhile, a year or so ago, people paid $200+ to get nothing.

Not saying that's WRONG. Just saying Nintendo's the one you should hold out on purchasing anything from.

nothing special, just a ps2 designed to attract people outside the gaming sector. sony's sales have been sagging lately and they need a system to fill the void until 2006 when the ps3 is slated for release.

Yes, they are shipping prerelease drives to all the folks beta testing FFXI. I think the commercial ones are slated for 1st quarter 2004.

I was watching X-Play on tech-tv and they mentioned that the new PlayStation was actually going to be a hand-held. No one the fuck knows.
