I used to like this site for hardware info. until they ditched their main page in favour of a messageboard.

Shit, the bidding for the site is currently at $1500, and all that without him stating what his traffic is like, etc. :/

I hate news sites that use messageboard systems for news posting. >:

Speaking of things hacked, Jeff K. hacked his own site (http://www.somethingawful.com/jeffk). :(

Not surprising, they were no Tom's Hardware by any means. They had a very active community and a lot of traffic though (but a pretty weak and irritating sense of humour). They would occasionally have cool articles with tutorials on how to hack consoles and mod computers (DIY shit - lighting, case mods, overclocking, etc. ) and decent daily updates of new hardware and computer shit (think a less Linux-biased Slashdot with some style). But like I said, after they dropped the site for a message board, it was shit... guess some l33t h4x0rz thought so too.

Well, the poor lack of judgment involved in switching to a message board-based content system is consistent with NOT MAKING A REGULAR BACK UP OF THE DATABASE!
I laugh at their sad asses. In addition to all my sites' code, I have regular back-ups of my databases. Any intelligent webmaster should do the same just in case something like this happens.

Sorry to here that you have backups of the Daily Bull. :( Any intelligent webmaster of that site wouldn't make them.

I have no worries of getting hacked, since no one would want to see my sites (so far)
