My cat's name is Bowser, got him when he was a 6 weeks, he is just about 2 years old now. He pretty much marks me getting my own place and moving out of the house since I got him a couple months after that.

Below is a pic of my parent's cat. It had a rare disease and had to get one of his eyes removed to stop it from spreading. Some strange thing that was eating away his skin and stuff. His whole back half was like he had been scalped or something. He's good to go now but is a cyclops. Kind of funny now.

Sorry to hear that about your parent's cat, Tim. My mom's friend had a one eyed cat, not from a disease or anything, he got into a fight with another cat. He died last year in her lap :(

Declawing is a lot more cruel than that. I watched a bit of "Animal Planet" one day in which a veteranarian discussed the process, ect.
